Pond 4 Poets Corner Specimen Rules

All anglers must carry some fish care antiseptic spray.

Rods must have a minimum test curve of 2lb. Minimum line strength 12lb.

No braided mainline.

No artificial Baits, this includes plastic, foam, cork or any other non-edible material

Micro barbed or barbless hooks only.

Size 4 to 10 only. No double hook rigs permitted.

Fish MUST be held over a cradle or mat for photographs and unhooking. DO NOT stand with fish for photographs, always knee down over mat/cradle.

Mats must have sides, NO Flat only Mats

2 rod limit.

No rods left unattended I.e. no more than 10 metres away.

Do not light any fires or BBQs or without prior consent from management

No alcohol or drugs, you will be asked to leave if caught and membership taken away with no refund.

Pegs must be left clean and tidy and all rubbish taken away.

No landing nets under 42 inch allowed

Bait Boats are allowed

Fish must not be retained in a sling, weigh straight away and return the fish.

Barbel must be allowed to regain strength before letting go, keep in landing net in the water till regained strength.

No pulling vegetation out without permission from fishery.

If you see any dead or unwell fish please report.

Anglers guests are the responsibility of the member, any miss behaviour the member will be held accountable.

When driving down the lane to fishery please respect the cottages, 10mph speed limit.

Tickets for Night Fishing must to obtained before fishing.

No Dogs allowed for Night Fishing

No generators

No Homemade Tiger Nuts 

No Trout Pellets only Carp pellets

There are no bait restrictions, but all multiple baits such as seeds, nuts, peas and beans must be well soaked, well cooked and used in moderation.

No transferring of fish between waters
